1. Acceptance of terms

By using the Driftwild website at driftwild.biz or submitting a booking enquiry, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or our services.

2. About the service

Driftwild is an outdoor activity booking service based in Chiang Mai, Thailand. We arrange small-group day treks in the Doi Suthep foothills, two-night ecolodge stays, and multi-day gear rental bundles (trekking poles, headlamp, dry bag, and inflatable SUP). All services are recreational in nature and are not marketed as medical, therapeutic, or professionally supervised fitness activities.

3. Eligibility and user obligations

You must be 18 years of age or older to make a booking. By enquiring, you confirm that:

• The information you provide is accurate and complete.
• You are physically able to participate in the activity you have selected, or that you have made reasonable enquiries with us about suitability.
• You will follow the safety briefing and the instructions of the guide during any Driftwild-led activity.

4. Bookings and payments

All prices are displayed in Thai Baht (฿). Pricing at the time of enquiry:

• Guided Day Trek — Doi Suthep Foothills: ฿6,800 per person
• Riverside Ecolodge Stay (2 nights): ฿11,500 per room
• Trek & Paddle Gear Rental (3 days): ฿3,400 per bundle

A booking is confirmed when we send you a written confirmation by email. Prices, availability, and inclusions may change before confirmation is issued. We do not make any promises about pricing remaining static between enquiry and booking. Payment terms will be stated in the confirmation email.

5. Cancellations, changes, and refunds

Cancellation and rescheduling terms will be set out in your booking confirmation. As a general guide:

• Cancellations made more than 7 days before departure are handled on a case-by-case basis and may be eligible for a full or partial credit toward a future booking.
• Cancellations made within 7 days of departure may not be eligible for a refund, depending on costs already incurred.
• If Driftwild cancels a departure due to unsafe conditions, we will make reasonable efforts to reschedule or provide a credit.

Specific terms in your booking confirmation take precedence over this general guide.

6. Intellectual property

All content on this website — including text, photographs, design, and the Driftwild name and brand — belongs to Driftwild or is used with permission. You may not reproduce, distribute, or adapt any part of it without our written consent.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to use this website to transmit harmful, misleading, or unlawful content, to attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, or to use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the site without permission.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Outdoor activities carry inherent risks. Driftwild provides safety briefings and trained local guides, but we cannot eliminate all risk associated with trekking, paddling, or related activities. Participation is at your own risk. To the extent permitted by the laws of Thailand, Driftwild's liability for any claim arising from use of the site or participation in an activity is limited to the amount paid for that booking. We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

9. Third-party links

This site may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content or practices of those sites and linking does not indicate endorsement.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Thailand. Any disputes arising from them are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Chiang Mai, Thailand, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted here with a revised date. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
